No Pants Subway Ride 2014 New York
This annual event is the brainchild of Improv Everywhere. Participants must be willing to take pants off on subway and should be able to keep a straight face about it when doing so. It usually takes place in January, and is known as “No Trousers Day” in UK, where the word pants refers to underwear. The first No Pants Subway Ride began with seven riders in 2002 in New York City. In 2006, 150 riders in New York City participated, where eight were handcuffed for disorderly conduct, but in court the charges were dismissed. For 2013, sixty cities had coordinators.
