Spooktacular Halloween Celebration 2008
31 October, 2008
The American Museum of Natural History invites children of all ages to enjoy a Halloween night of trick-or-treating, arts and crafts and live entertainment. More than 30 of the museum’s halls, home to dinosaurs and other impressive animals, are opened for the event, so you couldn’t ask for a better location!
Children are entertained by a number of cartoon characters, from Curious George® and Clifford the Big Red Dog® to Miss Frizzle and Give a Pig a Pancake. David Grover and the Big Bear Band, performers from the Big Apple Circus, Louie & Subanda, Sheira & Loli’s Dittydoodle Works and master pumpkin carver Hugh McMahon are all part of this year’s celebrations. There’s even a special new (ticketed) event – Spooky Skies – which takes place in the Hayden Planetarium.
