Children’s Day at South Street Seaport 2010
Every year thousands of children and their families take part in the annual Children’s Day Festival at the South Street Seaport.
Voted by New York City parents as the city’s “best kid fest”, Children’s Day at South Street Seaport and Target Fireworks returns for its 17th anniversary on Saturday, June 26, 2010.
Tens of thousands of New Yorkers flock to the annual, day-long event for its wide array of free family-oriented entertainment. The 2010 annual Children’s Day celebration will be hosted by Gordon from “Sesame Street.” The rest of the lineup includes Rebecca Frezza and Big Truck, the Puppetry Arts Theater, appearances by Curious George, Berenstein Bears, Clifford the Big Red Dog and fireworks sponsored by Target, plus countless other fun-filled activities throughout the South Street Seaport area in lower Manhattan.
