Barney’s New York is a luxury department store that sells some of the most well-known upscale designer brand merchandise from labels including Saint Laurent Paris, The Row, Balenciaga, Rick Owens, Burberry Prorsum, Dries Van Noten, Thom Browne, and Bettanin & Venturi, as well as Barneys private label merchandise. The famous “Big Brown Bags” and quality merchandise at Bloomingdale’s make it a must on the itinerary of most fashionable visitors to NYC. Macy’s
Macy’s is one of the most popular department stores in New York City. Their flagship store located at 34th St – Herald Square was the largest department store in the world till 2009. The store takes up an entire city block and has 10 floors filled with merchandise. Anything you are looking for, there is a good chance you will find it at Macy’s. You will find great deals at Macy’s since they always have some of the best sales in NYC. There is a whole floor for just shoes and you can find an extensive collection of formal gowns to choose from for any occasion. Bergdorf Goodman
Bergdorf Goodman is a sophisticated high-end department store where you can find the latest designs from Prada, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Lanvin and Dolce & Gabbana among other luxury designers. Bergdorf Goodman is not a chain store. It only has two locations, both located on 5th Avenue, across the street from each other. So, it’s a good idea to stop by Bergdorf Goodman for shopping or just to browse their eclectic collection since you can’t experience it anywhere else in the world.

Saks Fifth Avenue
Located across the street from Rockefeller Center, this famous NYC store is very popular with tourists and New Yorkers alike. During your visit to Saks Fifth Avenue, be sure to stop by the shoe department which is so huge that the US Postal service awarded it it’s very own custom zip code – 10022-SHOE!!

Century 21
Century21, is known as the “New York’s Best Kept Secret” for it’s bargain prices on the best brands. The everyday prices at Century21 are around 60% off the regular retail prices. FAO Schwarz Toy Store
Another store exclusive to New York City is FAO Schwarz, a toy store that all parents visiting New York City should definitely stop by. Founded in 1862, FAO Schwarz is the oldest toy store in the United States. Check out the giant piano at FAO Schwarz, made famous by Tom Hanks in the movie “Big”.

Tiffany’s
Tiffany’s is a high-end jewelry store in NYC and was featured in the legendary movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”.
