New York National Boat Show
29 December 2007 – 06 January 2008
New York’s Jacob K Javits Center hosts one of the largest boat shows in the US. With over 1000 boats of all shapes, sizes and styles there’s masses to see, lots to buy and plenty to dream about.
More than 300 exhibitors come to the show each year to reveal their latest wares. For those with sea legs it is a haven filled with shiny new boats and plenty of paraphernalia, ranging from marine engines to ship’s mate’s hats.
Plenty of activities take place throughout the show, including daily free fishing and boating seminars, guest author lecturers, boat-building workshops, fishing competitions, remote-controlled boating races and, back by popular demand, Twiggy, the amazing waterskiing squirrel.
