12 - 13 April 2008
There's nothing like a cup of coffee or tea to warm you up on a cold day and the Coffee & Tea Festival at the Metropolitan Pavilion offers just that. Expect lots of samples, lectures, art, music and entertainment.
Around 50 hot drink specialists exhibit their products, including Jalima Coffee, Monin Gourmet Flavourings and SerendipiTea. Funds are also raised for the official festival charity, Cup For Education, which helps poor rural communities in Central and Latin America build schools and educate the children about coffee farming.
Visitors can indulge themselves with different teas and coffees from around the world and familiarise themselves with the major players of the industry. Chocolates and other sweet treats are on offer too.
