NYC & Company's annual CultureFest in Lower Manhattan's historic Battery Park is a free, family-friendly celebration of the city's magnificent and diverse cultural offerings.
More than 100 of New York City's finest arts and cultural organisations showcase their new exhibitions and performances at this weekend-long event, complete with two stages, a park full of exhibits and interactive activities for adults and children, not to mention unforgettable views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Hudson River.
Directions
From Brooklyn and Staten Island: take the Verrazano Narrows bridge to the Brooklyn/Queens Expressway, then the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel (toll). Upon leaving the tunnel bear left onto the ramp heading north towards West St, onto the West Side Hwy then bear right onto West St, follow to the end and turn right at Battery Place.
From John F Kennedy International Airport: follow signs for the Belt Pkwy West and continue on the parkway to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel (toll) into Manhattan. Take the Battery Place exit from the tunnel.

The New Yankee Stadium
New Yankee Stadium is the working title for a new stadium for the New York Yankees, currently under construction. It will open in 2009, replacing the third-oldest stadium in the Major Leagues.
