Fleet Week is a United States Navy, United States Marine Corps and United States Coast Guard tradition that takes place around Memorial Day in which active military ships recently deployed in overseas operations dock in a variety of major cities for one week. Thousands of Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen from U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard ships will be in town for Fleet Week New York. Fleet Week includes dozens of military demonstrations and displays throughout the week, as well as public visitation of many of the participating ships. 
Visiting Ships
General Public Visitation is from 8am to 5pm everyday. The lines will be capped at 4pm.

9am-6pm Military Day Times Square – featuring performance by the Navy Band NE (1700) & USMC Band (1400) performances
10am-11:30am U.S. Marine Corps Marine Air Ground Task Force Static Display, East Islip High School, Long Island, NY
12:30pm-2pm U.S. Marine Corps Marine Air Ground Task Force Static Display, Massapequa High School, Long Island, NY

Pier 86 (Intrepid) Cross Street: 46th St.
Pier 88 Cross Street: 48th St.
All Along the West Side Highway
Cross-town buses (M50, M57) and the NY Waterway Ferry. The M50 and M57 travel cross town (50th and 57th Streets respectively). The M50 travels west to Pier 83 at 43rd St.
The M57 reaches 57th and West End Avenue.
