New York City Parks Foundation
City Parks Foundation is a New York City-based non-profit dedicated to the improvement of urban parks and neighborhoods through programming in parks, including athletic instruction for youth and seniors, performing arts, and education programs, all offered free of charge, and through community organizing. The organization reaches more than 600,000 people every year and is active in more than 700 parks.
Founded in 1989, City Parks Foundation is one of the oldest and largest citywide parks organizations in the country.
Some of the specific programs offered by City Parks Foundation include free concert, dance and theater festivals in parks across New York City, such as Central Park Summerstage and the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival, free tennis, golf and track & field instruction for youth, a free seniors fitness program, and education programs like Coastal Classroom, Learning Gardens, and Seeds to Trees.
In addition, City Parks Foundation partners with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation to offer Partnerships for Parks, an organization that supports the activity of over 60,000 volunteers in parks each year.

CityParks Golf - 2007
CityParks Golf makes it fun and easy for boys and girls ages 5 to 16 to learn to play golf. This FREE program, held in public parks and on citywide courses, makes the sport of golf accessible to kids of all skill levels throughout New York City. Free use of equipment is available at all sessions.
Two 4-week sessions run in July and August for beginner and intermediate level players. Beginner sessions start on July 2nd and run thru August 1st. The second session starts July 30th and runs thru August 29th.

CityParks Tennis presented by JPMorgan Chase
CityParks Tennis presented by JPMorgan Chase, provides free tennis programs to thousands of children each year in more than 37 parks throughout the five boroughs.
The program promotes physical fitness while building self confidence. The program is designed to make the sport of tennis freely available to those who want to learn the game in a fun, relaxed environment.
CityParks Tennis features free lessons for children ages 5 to 16 from July 2nd through August 14th in 37 parks throughout the five boroughs.

CityParks Track & Field 2007
CityParks Track & Field gives New York City kids the chance to learn the basics of the sport, from hurdles and relay races to long jump, shot put and javelin throw.
The program is open to boys and girls ages 5-16 and runs each summer from July 9th thru August 14th.
