The River To River Festival is an annual performing arts festival with events held from June through September in Lower Manhattan, NYC. The festival’s programming includes free music, dance, film, and arts events open to the public.
The organization aims to produce “a world-class performing arts festival with a broad sweep of programming and free admission in order to enhance the vitality of cultural life in Lower Manhattan, to support its economic and social health, and to generate new audiences for the arts of our city”.
The festival holds events in a variety of public venues that canvas all of Downtown New York – from Chambers Street to the southern tip of Manhattan and across the island from “river to river.” The festival’s programming is diverse, featuring many genres of music, dance, film, and art.
The presenting partners are thrilled to share exciting and free arts programming with you throughout this special 10th anniversary season. This year’s festival revolves around the theme “Made In New York” and focuses many of the programs on iconic New York artists and institutions.
