Nadal vs. Del Potro / Serena Williams vs. Azarenka
The sixth annual BNP Paribas Showdown will take place Monday, March 4 at Madison Square Garden and will feature Rafael Nadal, Victoria Azarenka, Serena Williams and Juan Martin del Potro.
This is the first time that Rafael Nadal has taken part in the BNP Paribas event. Del Potro and Azarenka will also be making their Madison Square Garden debuts this year.
The BNP Paribas Showdown features only players who have won Grand Slams or have been ranked number one in the world. Previous participants include: Roger Federer, Andre Agassi, Ivan Lendl, John McEnroe, Pete Sampras, Andy Roddick, Serena Williams, Kim Clijsters, Venus Williams, Ana Ivanovic, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Jelena Jankovic.
