The CMJ Music Marathon attracts over 10,000 people from all sectors of the business to the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and venues across New York City to discover the best new music and debate current music-related issues.
In addition to showcasing thousands of performers in clubs all over the city, the Music Marathon hosts five days of non-stop events, including panels, keynote speeches, film premières, mentoring sessions, tutorials and a lively, interactive exhibition area. Registration to the event grants attendees entry to all daytime and night-time offerings.
The event also offers its attendees the best in new and innovative films in the form of CMJ FilmFest, which bestows a signature award for Best Use of Music in Film and celebrates the collaborative effort between filmmakers, musicians and composers with a slate of distinctive independent features, shorts and documentaries, as well as major studio premières.
