In addition to showcasing thousands of performers in clubs all over the city, the Music Marathon hosts five days of non-stop events, including panels, keynote speeches, film premières, mentoring sessions, tutorials and a lively, interactive exhibition area. Registration to the event grants attendees entry to all daytime and night-time offerings. The event also offers its attendees the best in new and innovative films in the form of CMJ FilmFest, which bestows a signature award for Best Use of Music in Film and celebrates the collaborative effort between filmmakers, musicians and composers with a slate of distinctive independent features, shorts and documentaries, as well as major studio premières.
