Open House New York 2013
Open House New York is an annual event that grants New Yorkers and tourists alike free access to hundreds of architectural sites and historic landmarks around the city and throughout the five boroughs. Many of these sites including private apartments, hotels, warehouses, and under-construction buildings are not accessible to the public otherwise.
Open House New York 2013 takes place from October 12-13. Reservations are required for some of the sites and cost $5 per person. All other sites are FREE to visit. Tours at popular sites fill up fast. Notable sites at Open House New York 2013 are 4 World Trade Center, Gowanus Canal Superfun(d) Site Canoe Trip, Citi Bike Warehouse, Federal Plaza, Freshkills Park Tour (Staten Island), High Line at the Rail Yards etc.
