There’s no better place to say “I love you” than Times Square. This Valentine’s Day, thousands of locals and visitors will declare their love at the Crossroads of the World. On the most romantic day of the year, celebrate Love in Times Square where you can pop the question on a big screen, marry your love in the heart of the City, or say “I do” all over again.
In a month long celebration of love, a unique Heart Design installation will also be on display for Valentine’s Day in Times Square NYC.

Valentine’s Day Events in Times Square New York City
Renewal of Vows
On February 14, 2015, locals and visitors to NYC are invited to renew their vows or to declare their love for each other at the Cross Roads of the World on the famed red steps of Duffy Square. Times Square is the heart of New York City and there is no better place to celebrate your love this Valentine’s Day. The Times Square Valentine’s Day Vow Renewal Ceremony allows committed couples to take part in a romantic declaration of love on the iconic Red Steps. If you’re in love – you’re invited; partners of all ages and backgrounds – whether you are of different religions, races, political stripes, you name it. Wedding attire is welcomed.
A licensed wedding officiant will lead the ceremony, aired live on a billboard and webcast live at TimesSquareNYC.org. Please note that this ceremony is only a declaration of your love, and is not a legally binding event.
Admission is FREE. Though registration is not required, it is recommended that register your name for the event here.
The event will take place at 6PM between 46th and 47th Streets at Broadway and 7th Avenue on Times Square’s iconic Red Steps.
Propose to your lover in Times Square
Bring your love to Times Square on the most romantic day of the year to pop the question on one of the iconic screens in Times Square. You will need to send in a written submission to be part of this event and the lucky couples will start their journey down the aisle at the Crossroads of the World. As of noon on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, proposal submissions are now closed.
However, if you don’t need your proposal to show up on the giant screens on Times Square, you can still propose to your lover in Times Square on Valentine’s Day this year. All you have to do is get down on one knee. And don’t forget the ring!
Valentine’s Day Weddings in Times Square NYC
Make your wedding unforgettable by tying the knot in the middle of Times Square! Ceremonies will take place in front of the Seventh Annual Heart Design, “HEARTBEAT.” Couples who intend to be married in Times Square must follow all New York State laws to secure a marriage license. You will also have to provide at least 2 witnesses on the day of the ceremony.
Weddings take place every hour from 9:30 AM to 4 PM in Times Square. All available slots are filled for 2015, however, you can still sign up to be in the waiting list. Click here to register.
