Tastings New York City

Other events in November 2008

07 - 09 November 2008
Produced by CCK Global, this unparalleled tasting and purchasing show has been created for both consumers and industry attendees and is unique in its size and scope.
This year's event will focus on a variety of "tastings" - a taste of wine "), a taste of gourmet food items, a taste of the area's best restaurants (30 restaurants per day), and even a taste of the newest automobiles (test drive). Attendees of the event will include passionate consumers, food and beverage trade members, restaurateurs, and mixologists.
Over 75,000 square feet of Pier 94 will be dedicated to the Tasting Pavilion, where attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in everything from gourmet cheeses to procured meats to fine wines and spirits. Attendees have the opportunity to samples from New York's top restaurants and catering companies. If you identify a must have wine, simply order a case and it will be delivered to your home within a week.
Tastings NYC will also feature a variety of smaller pavilions, such as a Pan-Asian Pavilion, a Fine Waters Pavilion, and the Coffee & Tea Festival Pavilion. Also featured will be a main stage with seating for 200 guests. Attendees will be able to watch and learn from renowned industry talent, such as celebrity chef Jon Ashton and master mixologist Junior Merino. Access to main stage demonstrations are included in the ticket price

Tribute in Light

The ethereal Tribute in Light memorial was designed to help lessen the aching loss felt across the country since 9/11. It is a profound symbol of strength, hope and resiliency.

The New Yankee Stadium

New Yankee Stadium is the working title for a new stadium for the New York Yankees, currently under construction. It will open in 2009, replacing the third-oldest stadium in the Major Leagues.

The Bronx

In popular culture 'The Bronx' has often symbolized violence, decay, and urban ruin. In fact, there are guidebooks that say you must never go to the Bronx! Sheer ignorance, that is all we have to say!
